renaissance studios
logos and designs

2003

When I was working the Ely Scardamalia doing murals under the name "Renaissance Studios" in Savannah GA, I designed several graphic elements for fliers as well as our website. The RS logo was drawn on a large sheet of paper and the colored version was done in Photoshop using a sample of a faux-finish Ely had done. The scroll work is inspired from the classical Acanthus leaves you can see on a $1 bill.

You can see an alternative version of the RS logo in the business card, as well as a version that becomes a repeating key-pattern.

The square blocks were handdrawn and based on popular architectural motifs and used as icons for the Renaissance Studios website.
