The book The Fractal Geometry of Nature by Benoit Mandelbrot was one of my
favorite books to find inspiration in college. It is his manifesto on Fractal
mathematics, which shows how Fractals are the true geometry which the universe
is composed of. I did several paintings with obvious Fractal themes, but most
of my work is at least indirectly influenced by the idea of a unifing mathematical
geometric framework for reality.
